3- To be well-lit and ventilated; the sun's rays send warmth, energize the rabbits, and purify and dry the barns.
4- It is preferable, when creating barns, to use simple tools in construction, but they are able to protect them from their enemies and keep them away from them, and to be easy to isolate them well and at low costs, which helps to get rid of moisture.
5- The floor of the concrete barns should be tilted at a rate of 1/2 cm per meter, for speedy cleaning.
6 - That the wooden ceilings be painted with carbonyl or tar that the rabbits are away from because of their smell and taste, and the height of the roof of the barns should not be less than 3 meters.

Conditions to be met

After determining the purpose of the breeding as well as preparing barns according to the specifications here, consideration is given to some special specifications accordingly: -
1- She must be healthy and free from diseases, her eyes are clear and her fur is characterized by smoothness and abundance.
2- When raising rabbits for the purpose of meat production, it is necessary to choose species that have a rapid growth, since the weight of the rabbit within 8 weeks should be from 2 to 2.5 kg. 
3- That the rate of fertilization in mothers is high, meaning that the mother is able to produce from 4 to 5 stomachs per year, with an average of 8 rabbits in one abdomen. 

4- When raising rabbits for the purpose of fur production, it is taken into account that the breed is of one color and its fur must be distinguished by smoothness and abundance.
